I have some Warthog Tusks that I would like to part with but im not sure what they are worth, this is what I have, set of 4(2 tusks per set)and some singles(2 singles). The first set both are 9",the second set both are 8"1/2,the third set are both 7" and are thin, the forth set are both 6" and I have 1 single at 8" and 1 single at 7".Your thoughts.

I suggest you look on line to see what they are selling for.

To get your best value, i do believe that you will need to find an artisan who will have the equipment to make items out of them.

Well they are for sale so if anyone wants a set or whatever offer me a reasonable price Thanks........

Post your pictures to start with...

Your tusks with a ruler showing length would be great...

are the tusks trimmed to remove the nerve root base or is that part of the total length.

What is the circumference of each tusk?

I dont have a digital camera to post photos, they are hollowed out and the lengths are from top to bottom from the outside not the iner, two have wax inside. They are in great shape.

Hi there,

I'm sure if you are based outside of Africa you should find some buyer in your area if you google around for some artisans and knife makers etc.... However if you are based in Africa nobody would buy them off you and they will be probably be more worth to you in a sentimental way of value.. Take your time check around you may get some dollars for them if you find the right person there you will be surprised who needs those ! cheers Owen

Knife makers might be able to use your stock.
Search AH.

Good for you.

Wish they were wide enough to make revolver grips for, I would saw up one of my pairs.

I think @sestoppelman wished the Wart Hog tusks were bigger & I was going to post maybe just get a smaller revolver ?

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
