G'day fellas , just a warning on a bloke pretending to be a U.S. Navy chap offering to buy whatever firearm you have for sale , it doesn't come with an email address , he doesn't bargain and offers to get his agent to pick it up. Be wary.

boldo 42, Much appreciate the heads up. Any other details that you may be able to provide would be appreciated.

Thank you for looking after our community, always much appreciated.

A scam that we experience in the USA routinely when we advertise on the internet, almost any item is "fair game" for these scammers. Never, never reply on these inquiries, if an agent or a cashiers check greater than the amount it is selling for and they want you to wire the difference to them, this scam has been around for many years.

See this all the time here. Specially on Craig's list.

Yeah......and I'm still waiting on my million dollars from that Nigerian prince!!!

I've had people try that scam on me for years through Craigslist. I just laugh at them, and give em a middle finger farewell.

I would be worth about 3 billion dollars, if all that Nigerian money offered to me by the "Minister of Finance", actually made it's way into my pockets:ROFLMAO:

We all like to think we’re immune to scams. We scoff at emails from an unknown sender offering us £2 million, in exchange for our bank details. But the game has changed and con artists have developed new, chilling tactics. They are taking the personal approach and scouring the internet for all the details they can find about us.

Scammers are getting so good at it that even cybersecurity experts are taken in.

One of us (Oliver Buckley) recalls that in 2018 he received an email from the pro-vice chancellor of his university.

This is it, I thought. I’m finally getting recognition from the people at the top. Something wasn’t right, though. Why was the pro-vice chancellor using his Gmail address? I asked how I could meet. He needed me to buy £800 worth of iTunes gift cards for him, and all I needed to do was scratch off the back and send him the code. Not wanting to let him down, I offered to pop down to his PA’s office and lend him the £5 note I had in my wallet. But I never heard back from him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
