Wanted Fed 215 Primers Or Other Large Magnum Rifle Primers

fourfive8, no worries on my end, a good discussion always trumps the thread's intent or placement. There is another forum I frequent where everyone has to jump into the classifieds to say what a great gun/deal/seller is, and how they would buy it if only for money/laws/wife. Drives me nuts. Not this thread at all, which has been very interesting to me.

To piggyback for ET1775, about the best way to follow fourfive8's advice is to never handle your primers. There really is no reason. They should go from the tray to the loader, without ever being touched by your hands. Safer for them, safer for you.

I'm looking forward to trying the 34's here in a bit.

I ordered some of the CCI #34 as well. I bought a couple primer flippers and an extra LR primer tube for my bench primer, I will mark them small rifle, large rifle and magnum so I will not ever load the wrong primers. Also, dedicated priming area, will not handle them unless I have to and I have nitrile gloves for that. I am OCD leaning enough to really enjoy this pursuit and I would like to keep my eyes and fingers for the long run. Now if anyone has a lead on Fed #210M I am all ears! I am up to my neck in small rifle primers.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
