Gentleman, I am looking for a buffalo hunt for 2017. Having made a mistake in not coming here first on another hunt taught me to check with everyone here first. My budget is 14k all in. So lets get that out of the way. Can anyone here help me? I m open for any country were someone might be able to make that happen. And to be honest I am currently speaking to a well know PH is has made that off to me in SA. I still would like to check my options. I like everyone else would like the oppertunity at a "good" buffalo. For me that means at least 36-38 inches. Am I unreasonable? Thanking everyone in advance looking forward to hearing form the forum.

I'll be able to help you in Moz and in SA let me know if you are interested. For even less but with a super old school hunting experience.

My best always

Yes sir I am. Pleas PM me with all the costs and info.

Cool Johnny it will be a absolute all in price no tax and add on nonsense.. :) I'm just getting on a puddle jumper to philli and the to charleston but will forward ASAP.

My best always

Ok sounds good.

Good Day Jonny.
You are definitely on the right Site and some great outfitters to choose from.
I have sent you a pm.

Kind Regards
Wikus Coetzee

............. Having made a mistake in not coming here first on another hunt taught me to check with everyone here first. ...............

You did not want to repeat all that fun you went through!?

There are plenty of Outfitters would love to set you up to chase a Buffalo.
Your expectations with size are reasonable and you can get a good old bull that way.

Good luck with your planning.

The quote we talked about will be on the way when Pieter gets back into his office. His out building some new blinds but has all the info now to get it done now.

Sounds great Bill. enjoyed speaking to you this morning.

Well the quote was good compared to what I have been receiving from other PH's. Now I m no expert on how good the hunting for Buffalo is in Limpopo but they have 10,000 acres to roam and I m sure there are some trophies in the caliber I m looking for. Damn fence thing in my head:unsure:. My compliments to Bill C there U.S. representative for his patience and knowledge. Oh ya...just to make it interesting we may switch to a lion hunt if we can find a good deal in my price range.. Does anyone know just how much hair loss a lion could loose during the tanning process.?

Johnnyblues sounds like you hooked up with Pieter at Paw Prints. He seems to be a very easy outfitter to deal with.

And I guess I should ask this q

Yes. At least that's the impression I got from Bill C, his U.S. rep. I would like to hear from folks that actually hunted with him though. I have not made an official commitment ( deposit) yet since it is a long way off and they can't actually put the price on contract until they know for sure. And we may just switch to a lion hunt MAYBE...

Johnny
Contact Bill again for names of people who hunted with him. I did and spoke with three.

I am quite sure these guy's are the real deal.. A lot of good reports here and to be honest I have spoken with Bill C extensively about them. Now to complicate things just a little more for 2017 If we can find a lion hunt in my price range ( with a good mane) I am going to forgo my buffalo and plains game hunt one more year and do the lion hunt. I am afraid it may not be long before they stop importation. But I doubt that will happen I have several friends that took lion some years ago with "short manes" and after taxidermy the hair loss was substantial.

You did get the name and emails of the others I sent who have hunted with paw print

I can help with a free range hunt in my 2 million acre zambezi valley concession in Zimbabwe.

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
