Finally made it to the barber today. My barber is a women in her late fifties supporting two grandchildren. She has been back at work able to try to earn a living again since Monday. Her gray roots were showing and I made the comment that I had tried to help color my spouses. She said her beautician had called the day before but she couldn't make an appointment until she had "caught back up a little". The government check had all been used for food and fuel. There aren't many people spending their time on an African hunting forum in that sort of financial condition - but a whole lot of people who aren't typing here are. The checks were timely and important for most of them.
