Usually with BLO, I give it a full 7 days of drying time before reassembling the rifle and waxing. This is my first go at a stock using truoil. It came out great, but I'm seeing a lot of conflicting info on how long to wait before reassembly is safe. (Ranging from 2 days to a month.) Firsthand experience anyone?

It’s very humid where I live so (in spite quicker drying time with TruOil) I give it as long as possible here. Three weeks if it’s really hot a month or five weeks in winter. Even when it feels dry it can be soft. Ventilation helps. 24/7 with a small fan on it does speed up oxidation a bit.

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.

I will take the knife for $250 shipped. Please tell me how you would like the payment.

Thanks-
