Anyone have any experience with USF&W and Customs in Baltimore. Thinking about getting a shipment through there instead of Atlanta.

Great people in Baltimore I've cleared things there a couple of times. Just give them a heads up and they'll take care of everything. That is if Inspectors Savage and Cocky are still there.

Yes very easy! Just do what jduckhunter says! Dont pay all that extra money for a clearin agent!

Update on self import through Baltimore. Must give a BIG shout out to the people involved with the entire Baltimore self import process. Dealt primarily with USF&W Inspector Cockey at BWI who couldn't have been more helpful assisting me file my EDecs and paperwork package online and their clearance at BWI. The employees at Swissport Cargo Services, especially Janet who handled the documentation and expedited the delivery were great. Refreshing also to see dock workers that were efficient and timely at loading the box on the pickup truck. Customs is now in the terminal building (E) and that took about two minutes for final clearance.
All total, from the time we arrived at Swissport, got USF&W clearance, cleared customs and were loaded, a total of 54 minutes had passed, a far cry from the usual two hour ordeal at Philly dealing with the cargo warehouse goons and the all day, ten phone calls to Delta Cargo, three courier trips, and other assorted glitches going through Atlanta.

Congrats, look forward to seeing some pics of stuff hanging!

I must say theres a lot messed up in the state of MD but those two know what they are doing and care about people! I had damn near the same experience as you hogpatrol! Its nice saving all that money doing it yourself and i plan to do it again in 2020!

I have a shipment coming in April. I was planning on bringing it in through a broker in NY, but Baltimore is closer and I’d love to save some money. Can you direct me on where to go to do this??

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
