Hunted in April with Sadaka Safaris in SA (Great Hunt) and Ewert Vorster. One of the best safaris we've ever been on. Used Bullseye Taxidermy. I had 4 tropies. My hunting partners had 13 and 11 each (including a Sable and several Kudu). All arrived last week fully taxidermied, ready to hang. The work is very good. Used Hunters-International Brokerage and had NO problems at all. Cleared in LAX. US Fish and Wildlife was slow the do their work, Customs was not. Hard to believe but 5 months from the hunt and everything is done and hung on the wall. Can anyone beat that?

Sounds first rate. Can you post some photos of the trophies, and maybe a detailed hunt report?

Just go to South African Hunt Reports on this forum, May 11, or search 'cliffy" and you'll see my full report under "Another GREAT South African safari"

Cliffy, I'll let you know in the next few weeks. Not five trophies but but Three.

I was contacting the taxidermist a three weeks back, just to make sure the instructions I had given were understood, when I got the reply from the taxidermist in Otavi, Erongo Taxidermy,(Home) that my trophies were completed. (I had another item that needed to be packed so the shipping has been delayed 3 weeks.)

TWO months after they were dropped off.

I asked for some pictures and they looked good. (I'll post some pictures when I personally take them)

We'll see about that delivery to my door now.
They are on their way, from all reports.

I have trophies here in Canada that I have almost forgotten about the hunt details before I ever got them back.

This is a small shop but they had a bunch of other work to do. I was promised 6 months or so and they have delivered.

My first African hunt took 14 months to deliver!!! I sure like these folks now. All told, we had 28 trophies done and delivered last week among 5 hunters

Thanks, Cliffy (and Jerome), for the link. The hunt report was great, you must have had a wonderful time. I would love to see some photos of the finished trophies.

That is amazing.
Either they have twenty workers, no work or liked you guys a lot.

Would love to see photos of the mounts.

Well, the first set of trophies from Namibia has arrived at the airport.
3 Months from the point they were dropped of at the taxidermist to get to the airport here.

You might have us beat! I'm working on posting pictures soon

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
