There is no craftsmanship in the CNC’d manufactured firearm. Nor any soul of the hunter. Not my cup of tea.View attachment 722644
If this is innovation, count me out.

At one time cz was one of my go to recommendation when some one ask for a good rifle or handgun.Once they made rifles, now they make commercial products for lower end market.
The same company once made combination guns, ZKK rifles and legendary pistol CZ75. Where they are now?
Now lets wait and see, when they will make a new firearms product of significance, worth noting. So far this is not on the horizon.
Pretty much like every other firearms manufacturer. They all claim their current models are better but the truth is cheaper to manufacture is not better. It is just cheaper. I don’t care if it is the most accurate rifle ever made, plastic crap has no soul and there is no craftsmanship. Guess I am now restricted to the used gun market.Everything CZ have made since they stopped there CRF rifles, the CZ550 Safari and especially their little 527 mauser has been a let down to be honest.
I shouldn't have sold my collection of Safari Mag's, only have the Rigby left and a little cz 527 .17 hornet.
I also have a cz 452 Varmint .22lr, shoots lights out.
I also have my late fathers Brno Model 1 "TGF" these were made for the Germans in WW11 as a training rifle I believe.
They need to get back to their roots, currently its a race to the bottom for them.
Your Model 1 TGF was probably made for the GDR, a.k.a. East Germany, in conjunction with the Brno 1950 Volkspolizei M98K rifles. I own and use one of those M98 rifles. Need to get busy and load some more ammo for it!Everything CZ have made since they stopped there CRF rifles, the CZ550 Safari and especially their little 527 mauser has been a let down to be honest.

The full name for the Brno Model 1 rifle is:Everything CZ have made since they stopped there CRF rifles, the CZ550 Safari and especially their little 527 mauser has been a let down to be honest.

I hoped cz would have made colt better.General consensus is that the 557 series was better built than the newer 600, despite being a pushfeed?
I'd like to find one of those 557 Ranger rifles.
Depends what is your definition of CRF?You got a good deal… the Alpha’s are $650 currently at Bass Pro…I have a CZ 600 Alpha. That's the cheapest model they have. Mine was on sale for $349.99. It's in 7.62x39 and I put an Osight red dot on it. Where I hunt in TN, it's all hardwood ridges. Hell of a hike and long shots of 40 to 50 yards. This ugly little thing is super light, quick, and MOA at 100. It's perfect for my purpose. Did I mention it's ugly?
It was one of those, "Well, for that price...." kind of deals. Definitely not heirloom quality hardware here. You got a good deal… the Alpha’s are $650 currently at Bass Pro…
At $350 I’d buy one too… and I don’t need another rifle lol
