thanks simon,I am very happy how she turned out. I just know now who not to ask for help when I start making the base. Dont want any of that funny grass popping up around her.
Brickburn she is almost home and dakota can not wait to see her and start making that base. Waiting on shipping quote and hope to have her on a plane in a week or two.
Well I thought I would finish this post of with the ending. There is another thread that show how the base was done but this will show it from start to finish. Hope maybe some new guys will enjoy seeing the whole project and now everyone can see the end.

Great job Bill. I like how you kept it simple but really brought out the realism. I remember all the planning you did from the beginning. And I saw the form as Paul was customizing that front paw, it's very cool to see how well it turned out.
Thanks everyone. Dakota was very happy with how it turned out also. He had some good ideas for the base with the grass and rocks.
I look at the picture it all started with and other then making the sand grass more like were we hunted her I think it is such a great match to the picture.
I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
