Test fired handloads for the 470 Nitro today!

I found a load that regulates in Chapuis 470 Nitro today and it only took four rounds to do it! The load that regulates is a 500 grain Swift A-frames using 100 grains of IMR 4831 powder, at 50 yards right and left barrels are 1/2 inch apart, velocity is right at 2050 ft per second. Should put the smack on a cape buffalo in 2024!

Yeah I don't think I'll adjust the load from there, I think it's good enough!

Perfect! The big A-Frame puts a hurt on buffalo for sure.

I just loaded up a couple of Woodleigh Hydros with 109gr RL22 for my .470, hoping for your results.
