Taxidermy of Safari #1

I was on Safari #1 as well so I think they have waited long enough that I will gladly pay.

Great trophies and photos. I enjoy seeing the before and after shots, I'll have to post my taxidermy photos in that fashion after my first safari is complete.

Got the bill today ... apparently I was suppressing! All the prices were exactly what I agreed on ... completed in 6 months and 14 days (a full 2 1/2 months earlier than promised), so super excited there .... but, the total just looks bigger than I was remembering:)!

Very nice mounts! Looks like you had a very successful hunt. Where to next?

Great looking work! Better than Christmas morning!.......Now the planning begins for the next safari!

Very nice work!

Congratulations on your trophies. You have some very nice memories and very nice work has been done on them.

On a free safari with Justin at Arc Africa would be nice, but there are a ton of awesome photos in that contest, so I am getting started on narrowing down the list of places I'd like to go and pay the bill.:) However, the more time I spend here on AH the list of potential safaris keeps growing ......... guess I'll just have to plan more trips.

I don't think I will ever leave for a Safari again without having a pretty good idea of what the one after that will be.

Agreed ... I guess we need a thread on how many future safaris do you already have planned! I know where my next three will be geographically and what the primary species will be ... less certain about t how I am going to pay for them :)!

So true!!!

I'm torn between wanting to get my stuff back now and being happy for every extra day the bill is delayed!!!
I was having a fun day watching it snow here in Texas and you had to mention The Bill:E Horrified:

Fantastic, thanks for sharing

Very nice trophies, congrats !

Absolutely beautiful! Love love the giraffe! Darn if I don't have to add it to my list. And I'm drooling over the way the zebra was mounted. This is why I have to go back for another one. I opted for the rug this past trip. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy seeing the taxidermy work. It gives me ideas. :)

Very nice! Small world too, I knew I recognized the name, Jim was one of the references I spoke with about a hunt in Czech Republic with Jan Urban of Shooting Enterprise. Jim took some great trophies there and was a delight to speak with about the experience.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
