Is this dark line the beginning of a crack or a flaw in the wood that is likely to crack? It is not my rifle, just eyeing it although I need fewer rifles, not more.

I would have to go with it is not a crack. Character in the wood yes.

It doesn't look like an active crack, but I'd have to look at it under magnification and a good light, possibly even taking the action out of stock and looking at the inside the same way. If it's a crack, the inside will probably tell the story

It's a mineral line and where it is it will Crack if it is a heavy recoiloing round it will need to be bedded at the least

I agree…mineral line in and of itself would not bother me but it goes through the wrist which would greatly concern me on a big bore rifle…beautiful stock though!

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
