Not a lot of these seen in the States, but apparently they are much more popular in Europe. What about in Africa?

Looks like a quality rifle, both in action and in barrel. But how does it function in comparison to a Mauser-type action when you're out there?

Considering taking a chance on one, so any thoughts are appreciated. Cheers!

our manager has one with black synthetic stock in .300win mag and he likes it, and its his every day rifle and hasnt had any issues with it. i have never shot it myself but i have a steyr scout and ssg 69 rifles and they are well made. i used the .308 ssg in tanzania on a 30 day hunt and never had a problem with it.

My son has the rifle in 30-06 and 243. They are accurate and go bang when they are supposed to. He has used the .243 0n deer and the -06 on deer and plains game. My only reservation is the safety which is a bit over engineered. But that is a minor complaint. Great rifles.

Two yes votes! The best is it goes bang!
