Nice package! Just out of curiousity, is it done from blinds or walk and stalk? What about the vaal rehbuck, is it possible to stalk them with a bow or do they also come into range from a blind? I can imagin theyr pretty difficult to stalk....

Hi Wolverine

The hunt can be done out of pit blinds, all of the species do come in to the blinds should one feel that they are very efficient with bow they would be welcome to talk and stalk it can certainly be done!

Some other species on offer:
Common Reedbuck $750
Red Lechwe $3000
Black Wildebeest $1150
Red Hartebeest $1150
Blesbuck $500

Thanks Louis. Nice pics, sure looks like springbuck country! The singel stone building on the cliffs, is it an old blockhouse from some of the wars?

Hi Wolverine

The small block house is a blind, but there is a lot of old war history in the area.

How are these Vaalies coming to a pit blind Louis?

Walk and Stalk Vaalies with a Bow would be a challenge!!!

Hi Brick's

The Vaalies do come in to the blinds but are pretty unpredictable so one might have to also try walk and stalk that would not be easy but I think being patient will pay off in the end.

My suggestion would be to find a nice cosy spot between the rock and sit and wait.....

It will be a very worthy challenge that is for sure but that is why we do it.

Having a cross bow on hand might count in your favour big time.

Best Regards

A crossbow for back up would certainly up your chances.
It would be an incredible challenge with a Bow.

Cozy warm spot, where Vaalies live?! hmmm.

Brick cosy spot is what I said did not say warm LOL might have to take some good cherry along to warm you up:cook2:.

Gents I think we all realise the challenge with regards to hunting Vaal Reedbuck with bow but in saying that it would not be a first time ever that anyone would take one with bow.

I will be heading down to do this hunt in two months time will be sure to let everyone interested know how it went.

Best Regards
Louis van Bergen

Great offer louis and Vaalie with a bow would be one hell of a challenge! sure would be fun though.

A very optimistic "hell of a challenge" I'd say...
