SOUTH AFRICA: First But Hopefully Not The Last Hunt For 2020

Thanks for sharing!!

Fantastic results! Makes it even more so that the trophies were taken with irons, from such a classic firearm as well!

Congrats to all, thanks for posting

Very nicely done ! Love the fact that the 450 Rigby was used with iron sights. Something to aspire to with mine in this coming season.

I suggest not even having a body in the picture if the hunter does not want his face shown. There's honor and respect for a harvested trophy.
I don't agree. Just take a few photos without the hunter. Allow others to appreciate a beautiful animal. If someone is not interested in seeing trophies they should subscribe to National Geographic.

It definitely added an interesting element to the safari and it was good fun to try and get in close! Sometimes the scoped rifle was taken along just in case haha!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
