I am planning a plains game rifle hunt for late March 18 and looking at Lincroma. I know it is a short amount of time to plan such a hunt, but that’s where it’s at.

I was wondering if anybody has experience with Lincroma, and also any thoughts about hunting in March versus other time periods?

Thanks

I have not hunted with them so cant comment on that, though quite a few members on here have. If going in March I would target the last 10 days or so of the Month, if possible push it into the first week of April. Temps will be starting to come down around those couple of weeks. Best of luck with the planning!

Dchunter,

My family and I went on our first African safari with Limcroma last March. I did a rifle plains game hunt and had an amazing time. If you look back at the bowhunting hunt reports and search Limcroma you will find my detailed report. I accidentally posted it under the bow hunting site vs. Rifle but it was a rifle hunt. We searched long and hard and worked through many different Outfitters. After speaking with Dan Leahy, firehuntfish, we knew we found our outgitter. Please feel free to message me as I'd be more than happy to have a phone conversation. I can provide you references or answer any questions. You will not be disappointed if you book them.

Rick

Haven’t hunted with them, but have read many good reports on this site.
If you go with them I would definitely look into having your hunt videoed. They have a team that does an excellent job. I have enjoyed hours of their video hunt reports.
Enjoy your hunt!

I have never hunted with them but from all I know you will be in good hands booking with them. March is just warmer but still good hunting. Animals may not moves as much as later in the season but it is early in the season and they are more at ease.

Welcome to AH! If you type Limcroma into the search function you will come up with several pages of good info from folks around here that have hunted with them.

My wife and I hunted with Limcroma this past June. Absolutely everything was excellent from the moment we were picked up at OR Tambo by our PH until the moment we said goodbye.

You won’t be disappointed. Hannes has assembled a great team at Limcroma. You will be well taken care of and will be put on some outstanding animals.

Most of all enjoy your first safari.

Welcome to AH DCHUNTER. I don't mean to be a parrot but using the search capability you will see what previous AH members have had to say about their hunts with Limcroma. I have no doubt that your questions will be answered and your fears put to rest. If after your hours of reading any questions remain, just ask them. Folks that have hunted with Limcroma previously (some of them many times) will be more than happy to provide you an answer.

I hope you enjoy your first safari. Planning is a big part of the fun.

I just hunted with them this past August. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
