So it's Tuesday...

Listening to Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Dire Straits and of course CCR.

Little trivia. CCR got so big they were the number 2 band behind the Beatles. When the Beatles broke up. CCR was the biggest band in the world for a time.

Red Leg, your Mohican movie reference reminds me to show off the War clubs I have made. In that movie Chingachgook the father of Uncas is carrying a large Gunstock war club.

The Gunstock style was used by the North east tribes like the Mohicans. Ball heads and others by different regions and tribes.

The Gunstock club is American chestnut
The Eagle talon club is 150 year old black Cherry that was dying and I cut down.

The eagle head is from one of my Mulberry trees

The last three albums to go through my trucks speakers were April wines greatest hits Boston’s live show album from 1991 (only two years before I was born) and the eagles album with the painted eagle skull on a blue background can’t remember the name of that album. Today’s probably a Lynyrd skynyrd day thread tittle inspired that after all Tuesdays gone….

Feeling a bit chill… I found out today that my hunting dog has a tumor behind his eye. Waiting to see if it’s malignant or benign. He doesn’t complain and he is one hell of a hog dog tracker.
Wishing for the best.

I mainly listen to country but also like a variety. Motown, Adele, Celine Dion.

Occasionally, I find something on YouTube and just enjoy how good some musicals are. Glenn Campbell was one of the greatest guitar players of all time and Classical Gas one of the all time best instrumentals (Mason Williams and Mike Post earned 3 Grammys for it). South Dakota Symphony Orchestra (Who Knew???) backing up Glen.

I’m a bluegrass fan. Alison Krauss‘s earlier songs (when she still recorded bluegrass), Billy Strings, the SteelDrivers (especially their older stuff when Chris Stapleton was in the band) and when I’m feeling the need for the real deal, Bill Monroe.

I grew up on rock and especially country rock. I still like to listen to Skynard, the Allman Brothers, CCR, Little Feat, and the late great Jimmy Buffet.

I just love the musicality and messages in the bluegrass songs. The older I get, the more I can relate.

Old Kenny Rogers is my favorite musician of all time.

The Bee Gees comes off as a close second.
Blues Brothers comes third.

I love some of Madonna‘s earlier works too.

It was an an Essential album compiled from the more popular songs of their others.
My personal favorite is “Angel Eyes”

Am away hunting deer in my trailer which is old and tired 1994 I think. It only plays cassettes and there is still one in the “tape deck” so I am listening to zeppelin 3 for the 453rd ish time. Also have a collection of ducks unlimited and bugle magazines dating into early 2000. Sat in the truck to listen to a baseball playoff the other night for a couple hours. . .

While hunting with my teenage daughter we would listen to one of her albums and then One of mine. I’ve heard everything Taylor Swift ever sang now and I like it just fine. My daughter now likes Simon and Garfunkel, George Strait and Dropkick Murphys but we must’ve listened to the 1812 overture a dozen times-she would skip ahead to the fast part with the canons at the end

Probably dating myself but lately it's Sonny James, Connie Smith, Charlie Pride, Marty Robbins. Good old real country music. Add a dash of ABBA, Dano's Island Sounds steel drum, and Hooked on Classics.
Charlie Pride was a nice guy--he used to play a new song to bounce it off local people for their honest reaction. One day Chas Nix was wallpapering his house in Highland Park, Dallas, when Charlie asked him what he thought about a new song....it was 'Kiss an Angel Good Morning."

Glen Campbell was a singing fool! He was even the soundtrack for the movie, "Rockadoodle."

Always on classic vinyl

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
