silencer or sound forward

I’ll need to look into it, not that I’m ever down there except once every couple years but I do like to keep those types of permits active until they become a mess to aquire

Hello, I have been searching for this and have found it to be the best of both worlds for silencer and muzzle break that will not kill your ears or any one around you.
Silencers are often described as heavy and too long in very thick cover and can be a pain trying to go through heave cover . The ASR BLAST SHIELD attachment allows you to keep your ASR muzzle break in play without killing your ears and your PH's ears. The muzzle break is called silencer CO hybrid ASR muzzle break for the hybrid 46 silencer with CHARLY disconnect. The Hybrid 46 silencer will add over one pound hanging out in front of barrel and will slow a person down considerably unless you shoot thousand of rounds a year and have adapter to the extra weight . I have been planning ahead of time. This combo is on my 458 win mag, which I will take on my 21 day hunt in 2027. I will only use the 458 win mag for all game that is considered dangerous. My PH has given me the green light for lead bullets on every thing but elephant and buffalo. I will use cutting edge 450 gr solid on elephant and for buffalo I will use barnes tsx 450 gr all other will be with a 430 grain lead bullet equaling the solid and expanding bullets in velocity, which means I only need one scope and iron sights setting. There are many thread sizes and caliber ASR muzzle breaks on the market .

There is a better break and sound forward system now available
I just received one today had to play with it ,took off the ASR muzzle break and blast shield and replaced with the new Infinite Product Solution Gen 4 QD 3- Port break with a 5 3/4 inch sound forward shield They also make a 4 port I have one arriving soon here is the new break and group shot today
top 3 rounds were the scope was hitting after I replaced the asr break with the infinite break adjusted scope and shot 5 for testing on how the new break would effect accuracy not bad for 26 mph wind and shooting fast definitely reduces muzzle rise
shooting at 50 yards

The weight difference
Infinite with sound forward shield = .3840
ASR break blast shield =.5780

My advice would firstly to just take solids for ele and TSX for everything else. In my mind you are overthinking the ammo choices.
For the suppressor I'd say just go with what works for you.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
