Should I build a 318 Westley Richards?

have your gunsmith build an exact copy of a Westley or close as possible .many classic guns can't be had for easy money or the condition/barrel is not up to par thats why I say copy a classic im thinking of making a 350 rigby magnum or a copy of my 275 rigby , the only problem with the Westley is trying to copy their patent front site other than that its a no brainer....Paul
The WR front sight hood is a wonderful thing but I am not sure it is a patented . I had a double rifle built in the UK about 10 years ago . Told the gunsmith I wanted the WR folding sight hood fitted and he happily did so.

he may have been able to get it from WR I never seen that particular folding sight on other rifles I imagine it would be hard to do as a one off item ,I was friendly with Simon Clod e and he sent me a new hood for a rifle I had years ago so I know they would sell parts if they know you

Patent expired, just like the boxlock and plunger and lever forend fasteners also patented by WR.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
