Hell of a deal!

Got one. Thank you for posting.

It should work nicely on my Ruger #1 in 450/400.

Thanks for the heads up!

Damn enablers. :) I ordered one. Should work nicely on my CZ550 .375.

With 3.5” eye relief, I can virtually guarantee you’re going to need offset rings to get that scope closer to your eye. I hope I’m wrong. Please let us know how it works. People collect lists of scopes that work on Ruger #1 rifles.

Kind of an odd reticle for a DG scope, or even a 1-4 for anything.

Thought about buying one for a 30-30 or 45/70 lever gun;)

I was thinking about one for my .350 Remington but the reticle doesn't do anything for me at all.

Totally agree. The better reticle is available for $900, but then again, The point of posting this was for the beggars can’t be choosers crowd.

Joe Sixpack on this forum can find a beat up old Mauser 375 or 458, a set of Talley rings, and that scope. For ~$1000 someone can own a suitable Africa rig.

Naturally, there are superior scopes and superior reticles available for those that have $1000-$3500 to spend on optics.

I had this same scope with the same reticle on my M70 .375 H&H for a while.. Thought it was an excellent combo..

Got mine in the mail, here’s a review:

The goofy crosshair is actually usable. The sub tensions are really small and easy to ignore. The illumination is good, the turret system and hard stop is awesome. Eye relief is forgiving, clarity is VERY good, vastly superior to any sub-$1000 dangerous game straight tube scope I’ve previously or currently own.

They are back in stock with another shipment as zeiss is liquidating to their dealers.

Fully recommended.

This should be good for the ,375 Ruger I believe. I hope it is available in a week or so.

I just stuck on on a 300 Blackout. Seems like a lot of scope for the $$.

quite ideal for a slug gun or muzzleloader as well. Glad it worked out for you. Quite surprised they still have them, last time they sold out in a half hour, now they keep getting new stock.

I wish the tube was a couple inches longer. It doesn’t look it will fit on 602, and if it does there will be no room to adjust eye relief.

It will fit Wyatt and should be a little room for adjustment.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
