Mounts from my 2014 hunt with Kubusi Safari. Took awhile to get them here but I'm going to love unwrapping these!

Nice!!!! Congrats!

Show us more pictures once you get them out!

Can't wait to get mine early next year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Very nice timing ... looking forward to seeing them out of the crate and on the wall.

I hope the wait is worth it.
Look forward to seeing them on the wall.

Congrats!

Merry Christmas.

Enjoy opening the presents.

Show us some pictures after you have them out of the box... and let us know what you think of your trophies on your wall.

It looks like they did a good job of packing for you to take the puzzle apart.

Merry Christmas...

MERRY XMAS and enjoy your Santa present... get them on the wall and show us, please!!!

Boy, that warthog looks nice!

Merry Christmas! Sure did take a long time?

Couldn't ask Santa for a better gift! I'm curious I've seen photos of trophy shipments and the kudu horns of course are removed for transport, do the just screw back on? I mean no sort of adhesive?

You have to buy a special kudu wrench. ;)

To my understanding some folks do glue them on and some don't. Nice thing about just setting them on is you can take them off if you have to move te mounts again.

Push 'em down and turn left. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Thanks guys. Merry Christmas

my son and I each killed a kudu a few years ago and were mounted in africa.
Mine came back looking so-so.
His was horrible.
I had my taxidermist here re-mount his with a new hide.
His looked much better. Not only the hide, but the horns look better where the seam is meeting the hide.
But, like you said, when we move, mine will be easier to transport.

DON'T glue them on....... as you say, it is then easy to remove should you need to move them, take them down for cleaning etc

Looks good but I'd interested what you think about the work as I'm going with them in March. If you can PM me about how the hunt went that would be great too.
Tom

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
