Very nice rifle sir!

Where in Wisconsin are you located?

Thanks Charlie. Located a few hours north of Madison, north central Wisconsin.

Not quite that far north, about 15 min north of Marshfield. Some good fishing up towards that area, wish I was closer.

Folks, this rifle is no longer for sale. I have come to my senses and decided to keep it.

Ah, where my wife was born (Marshfield Clinic).

Hope you get good use from the rifle!

A man should always have a .375 H&H Ruger No. 1. If this is not possible, he should have something larger. If it is possible to have both, then you are a lucky man.

I guess I’m a lucky man! But a No. 1 in 375 is essential.

Another lucky fellow! How fortunate! I can hardly believe that they stopped making the H&H. I wonder if we will see it again or they will just to continue to force themselves upon us with their substitute chamberings.

True. The 375 H&H should be a staple in the No. 1 line up. I do like the 375 Ruger in a bolt action, and have one, but don’t see the point in the No. 1. I was tempted by this stainless/ laminated example. If I indulged every such temptation the house would be overflowing with them and the electricity would be turned off.
