I noticed there is a guy on another forum that is reporting on his good fortune by finding a Ruger 77 in .375 H&H at a great price. Congrats to him! He inspired me to tell you about my good luck. While hunting in Wyoming earlier this year I got a text from my daughter informing me that I had won my sportsmens club gun of the year, a Ruger #1 chambered for .300 H&H with gold inlays of an elk on one side and a bear on the other. This gun is awesome and shoots like a dream the first two 180 gr. grand slams fired at 100 yds. made one hole. I can't believe my luck, not bad for a $20 ticket.

I have cool one as well. English walnut express style stock and Turnbull case color on the action and quarter rib. True MOA rifle.

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
