Does anyone have real world experience with Rizzini Double rifles they would like to share?

I think that’s going to be @gizmo ‘s territory…

Do i ever. My first DR (I have owned 8) was a 470 NE Rizzini. Horrible recoil due to their not understanding the concept of having the right weight for caliber. My rifle weighed 9.3 pounds. My Rigby weighs 11 pounds. My Rizzini kicked me to death. I sold it in 2 weeks of my buying it. Also the engraving is extremely poor. They make a great shot gun…They should stay away from DRs

Jerry Noblin bought one in 500 nitro and had many issues with it.

Their safari class doubles are way to light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have shot their smaller 30/06 and 45/70 and both shot well (not my rifles so no experience on how rey hold up) . but like @Rare Breed mentioned their engraving was sub standard etc.

To my way of thinking they are a step above sabatti's and a notch or two below the other options out there.

Sadly, quite a few makers of double rifles today make them too light.. Take a look at Guns International..several .600 doubles weighing some 13lbs..they should weigh in at 15-16lbs to be usable..

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
