COVID -19 has bared us some positive fruits.
While we were in lockdown my oldest daughter had her birthday and because we could not go anywhere i decided to open up a nice picknick spot alongside the river for her to give her a little party, and also to have a nice place to go and have drinks or take a bush lunch with future clients.

While we were there opening up the river i decided we will try some fishing today. I need to say this river is fed by fountains a few miles up the road and it flows into a lake close by but it has been dry for a couple of years with the droughts we had.

Ok back to my story we selected a nice pool with some steep cliffs on one side and a nice bank on the other side of about 100m river front

Well to my surprise the bass was hitting us hard today and we caught about 12 fish in the afteroon

Well this also offer our clients the oppertunity to do some fishing while on Safari with us at no additional cost and on the same property!!!! Great bonus in my views

We can even do an African Macnab!!!!

Looking forward to us being able to hunt again and to the friends coming to visit us soon.

As we move around the ranch the game will be rested this year and we will be scouting for the beasts for when our friends return to hunt

Next up was these two wildebeest bulls but look at the boy on the right!!! Propably not the longest bull but he is heavy in the bosses and he drops like a buffalo!!!

My youngest daughters turn to join the hunting comunity!!! After a quick session on the range she showed that she was ready and comfortable with the rifle!!!
The gear used was dad's 243Win with Hornady 103gr ELD-X bullets.

After a couple of hours we managed to find this impala ram at 60yards. She made a perfect shot and droped him right in his tracks!!! Super proud farther here.

Now the problem with hunting kids is old sis also wanted to shoot something as she has not taken anything this season.
So she was fortunate enough to find this very nice white blesbuck ram, again the 243 made quick work of it and it expired within 20yards from where it was originally shot thanks to good shot placement!!!

Hi All

Time to update again on what is happening at the Bos & Dal camp for 2021. First of all thank you for everyone that reached out to see if we are still safe, i guess it is the upside in living in a rural area. Our locals decided they will not join the riots but will rather stand and defend our local communities property. So for now Bos & Dal is still a safe hunting destination.

We started of the year with a revamp of our lodge after a great deal of it was lost in December due to a electrical fire that started while we were away from the farm. The new Lodge is also offer our friends more than the old one and we await your returns. With four on-suite rooms as well as a loft you can now bring your friends and family with on your South African Safari.
