Expecting reciprocity? That went out the window long ago. No one is forcing you to watch. The only thing I’m interested in is a successful outcome. The reaction of those who watch will tell the story. Save the preaching for them.

You defined the Palestinians that recorded deaths on Oct 7th as non humans... those are your words.. no one elses..
And appear to be ok with us mimicing the behavior... recording a death and live streaming it..
Would that not make us non humans as well?
Why do you think we get a pass on the behavior.. but others that are also committed to it like ISIS, Taliban, etc do not? Why are they non human.. but we can commit to doing the same thing.. and continue to declare ourselves human?
Again, Im all for executing Hasan.. I think he should have been executed at least 10 years ago.. its been 17 since the Ft Hood massacre.. I dont care how we execute him.. hang him, electrocute him, give him poison, shoot him, drop him in molten lava.. a method is just a method..
But if we want to continue to call ourselves "human" rather than become "non human".. perhaps some humanity should be involved.. ensure its quick.. ensure its done timely.. ensure the aggreived get any relief they can be provided.. and then be done with it... (although I will admit.. in this particular case, if Hasan suffered a little bit,while I dont want that, I wouldnt lose any sleep over it.. he is certainly a blight on society and deserving of any punishment he recieves)..
Or.. I suppose we can just be like Rocket Man in North Korea and allow people to be eaten alive by a pack of starving dogs.. or be like the Taliban and cut off heads in a public square and record it and push it out on the web for posterity..
Or perhaps like the Houthi in Yemen.. who are actually known for execution by firing squad (their preferred method). They typically shoot people in a public square in Sa'naa and record it..
For what its worth, public executions are almost exclusively done by extermists groups these days.. Houthis, ISIS/ISIL, Al-Shabab, the Al Nusra Front, etc... Exactly two countries have conducted public executions in the last 5 years.. Iran.. and Afghanistan..
I guess we get to join the list and be the third.. what an honor..
