MAID allows terminally ill people to die with their family by their side ... and still know they're by their side. Nothing could be more humanitarian than that. I cannot understand how anyone with an ounce of decency or a single brain cell in their head could oppose MAID. I just don't get it.

Except. It is offered as a solution instead of life saving medical procedures at times as mentioned in the articles.

Jennings was exactly the opposite on a personal level.. he actually got fired when he was a DJ for playing black artists like Little Richard.. he was one of the first people in country music to actually employ minority musicians in his band (both black and latino)..

The Country Music scene in the 70's was extremnely segregated though.. Weird as it was, it was acceptable for a white person to attend a black persons concert like Charlie Pride (sort of).. but it was socially unacceptable for black people to attend "white" concerts during that time period.. it was socially rigid.. and there were known problems at the more "outlaw" country type shows like Waylon or Willie or Merle Haggard, etc where massive fights would break out, etc when minorities showed up.. Using Charlie Pride as an example again, he even had to be very careful cencoring his own set lists and having security control who was allowed into the audience.. he was threatened with physical violence several times when he performed Green Green Grass of Home.. because the lyrics mention "hair of gold".. and white people didnt want a black man singing about a pretty blonde...

I was head of security in the early 2000's at a bar with 3,500 fire capacity and 4,000+ in the bar when David Allen Coe went on a full tirade into the micro phone at a black family seated up front; this all started because a waitress came up to families table to take their drink order and Coe grabbed the mircophone.....

"BITCH!,WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU DOING? THESE PEOPLE CAME HERE TO SEE ME NOT YOU!"

The black father tried to wave Coe off which only infuriated him and lead to the worst full volume racist bloviation I've ever heard in my life, amplified by 14' speaker stacks at full volume.

But should a person with severe schizophrenia be compelled to live that way? That's not living. It's using up food and oxygen with little or no enjoyment. I understand it's not easy for persons with Alzheimer's to qualify for MAID. Lots of hoops to jump through. Pretty much not possible until the person is a babbling vegetable. I know two people who have used Maid, my neighbor as I mentioned who was in terrible condition with Huntington's for years and the wife of one of my late wife's coworkers who was dying of cancer. And I'm fairly certain the hospice gal helped out my mom in Montana at the end when she was dying of brain cancer, but it had to be done on the q-t. We didn't ask any questions. Didn't want her to get in trouble. It was a relief to finally see Mom's suffering end. MAID allows terminally ill people to die with their family by their side ... and still know they're by their side. Nothing could be more humanitarian than that. Coe was probably the worst of all time... but... he also based his career on it, dating back to the 70's and theough the 80's.. he was actually very well known for being openly racist at concerts and in other public settings.. and therefore attracted a crowd that sort of behavior appealed to.. some of his songs included very openly racist lyrics.. one of his songs was actually titled "Nigger Fucker"..

Whats weird about Coe is... he denied being racist.. and he did somethings that anyone deeply racist probably wouldnt have done.. like his drummer for years was a black guy that was married to a white woman.. he claimed his songs werent racist, that they were dark satire and comedy.. and that if you couldnt tell the difference you were an idiot..

Makes me wonder if it all wasnt some sort of twisted act that he used to gain an audience and make a living.. sort of like Alice Cooper wearing goth make up or something..

You would have to listen to some of Coe's unreleased recordings to even begin to understand.

David Allen Coe was an actual outlaw, he shared a room with Charles Manson at the Juvenile reformatory school for boys in Terre Haute Indiana; he served hard time at both Ohio Penitentiary as well as Marion Correctional Institution where he beat another inmate to death with a ball peen hammer and a friend doing double life took the murder wrap.

His last conviction was in 2015 for tax obstruction, he failed to file tax returns for 5 years because he would get paid for his shows in cash; he got a $980K fine and 3 years probation.

Which tracks, because we handed him $40K in cash after his 1.5hr show and he stuck it in his pocket and asked for directions to the nearest casino(Lake Charles LA) which was 4 hours away and got on his Harley and road off.

Here he is in 2008 getting into it with Casino staff..... he was 68yo

One particularly outrageous one was was a trans man that shot up a Christian school and killed several children. Little kids. That is one of many. I guess they don"t cover that aspect in the Canadian press. I saw a.breakdown of these shootings a while back and it was enough to to convince anyone of the mental illness in that "community." Then look at the murder of Charlie Kirk. That guy in't gay himself, but his love-interest is.

At no time have the majority of mass shooting in the United States been carried out by trans individuals. There have been some high profile shooting committed by trans folk but it never has come close to majority or vast majority.

Getting back to our Canadian invasion plan discussion. Do our Canadian friends really think that there will be a Canada left after Quebec voted in separation government and Alberta on the verge of having a separation vote?

Yes. I think this is what, the third or fourth time Quebec has elected a separatist government and yet here we are. The numbers show they are less likely to win a referendum than any of the previous times, partially thanks to Trump.

In Alberta they are not close to a majority. They will lose that vote going away, and it is not even a referendum on separation directly.

Mass shooting is now defined as any time 3 or more people get shot, so if a gangbanger opens up on a crack house and hits 3 or more people it's a "mass shooting" and if you hold to that definition then you also have to realize that the FBI crime statistics show that 90%+ of mass shooters under that definition are black males between 15-30yo.

Which is a hard pill to swallow for most liberals that love to talk about the number of mass shootings under that new definition since only 1.5%ish of the USA population is black males in that age range, so vastly over represented per population size just like the transgender shooters.

Actually, while blacks are overrepresented in violent crime in general, mass shooting are very closely proportionate to overall racial makeup in the United States.

If the whole point of the military is to protect and defend our civilization, what group would be the most important to protect and support? Answer: married people that breed, otherwise we don't need a military because we won't have a civilization that sustains.

So in your worldview its okay for the military to participate in pride parades to show support for LGBTQ interests. If that was true and consistent, then the military would participate 50-fold in parades that support the nuclear family and any event that encourages marital success and production of offspring because that is what continues a civilization that is worth sending soldiers to die protecting.

But they don't do that, because it was about woke pandering, not "supporting all Americans". Pedos and Felons are people too, should the military participate in their advocacy events to ensure they represent every interest group in the USA no matter what their proclivities are? How about anti-war parades? How about parades to dismantle the US military?

Unlike being a pedophile, being gay is perfectly legal, although trying to associate gay people with pedophiles is a pretty old and well tried canard, right up there with the Protocols of Zion. And I think the military's duty is to serve all citizens gay or straight. It also serves straight men and women who are unable or chose not to have children. And people too young and too old to have children.

The anti-war parade is an easy no for Canadian soldiers who are prohibited from participating in political events in uniform. An anti-war parade is inherently political and thus inappropriate to attend.

I think the military participating in the Santa Claus Parade, or Family Day (a Canadian holiday in February) and similar events is a wonderful idea. And in fact they do up here. It doesn't get any more family friendly than the Santa Claus parade now does it? So in Canada (not in a hypothetical or my worldview but in the real world) our military does participate in the "50 fold larger" family friendly events all the time. Our military is proud to serve all Canadians.
