I mean the guy is a criminal that employs at least one other known criminal/terrorist supporter in his cabinet. So why wouldn't the mayor of NYC want to arrest him? Don't the Republicans claim to be the "law and order" party? You should be happy about arresting a criminal?

LOL ......Because he was branded a war criminal by the Israel haters of the ICC?
Based on the lame accusations of the ICC, leaders of Palestine should also be branded as war criminals for killing Jewish citizens.
It is a situation that should work both ways, but it won't, because the alleged war crime charges are politically motivated.

Ever heard of the progressive era? Various anti-trust legislation like the Sherman, Clayton, or FTC Act? What about organized labor, collective bargaining, and child labor laws. The SEC and the Federal Reserve? The Square Deal, or perhaps the New Deal? Perhaps the free school through high-school movement? Woman's suffrage? Taxing the rich?...Give me a break.

I'm sure these things didn't contribute to anyone's success right? (Sarcasm for those of you who are confused).

All you did was just name a whole bunch of wars. Can't you stay on topic for even one post?
In case you missed it, I was pointing out that is no harder to be successful now than it ever was in the past. On the contrary, it is probably easier now. All this dribble about how tough it is to get ahead is just a bunch of lazy whining. Nobody cares, work harder.

I'm not trolling or following anyone. Except maybe Trump. But he's not on the forum. I don't engage in name calling anyone who's on the forum. Well, not that I can recall anyway. Yes, I often label Trump an idiot or stupid. Perhaps you are correct, I should instead describe him as acting stupid and acting like an idiot. Generally I let his actions and words speak for themselves. And you obviously don't like to hear them brought up. Better that his endless ridiculous behavior (like proposing himself for Nobel Prize or adding his image to Mt Rushmore, etc, etc, etc) just be ignored and swept under the rug. I am of the opinion that those who would do so should be swept out of office. And that's why we are discussing these things. Midterms are coming. It is uncomfortable for many on here to acknowledge the man they voted for president makes a fool of himself publicly on a daily basis (sometimes hourly basis). What does that make them? They would prefer to shoot the messenger rather than look in the mirror. I don't deserve to be put in a class with Brent or below his very low bar just because you don't like hearing about reality.

Nobody can lower the bar better than you

Maybe the people who can't afford to live here anymore don't want to "keep the country the way it is"? Did it ever occur to any of you to ask why these candidates are getting traction now? Similar to the Socialist candidates in the early 1900s? I mean it's not that hard people. If you screw over enough American's, allow income inequality to reach all time highs, and gaslight people about it, they tend to rebel at some point. Socialist candidates received almost 1 million votes for president in the 1912/1920 presidential elections, by the 1940s it had dropped to 150K votes, and then to only 60K votes by the 1950s.

Try doing something about the oligarchs here, the vast income inequality, the outrageous cost of housing, the loss of good paying jobs, corporate monopolies, etc...Instead of complaining about candidates that were duly elected by the people. Maybe tax cuts for the rich, endless corporate campaign contributions, and free trade wasn't the answer. Remember that you may have a lot to loose financially, but the people on the bottom don't. Pass it on.
“… allow income inequality to reach all time highs,”

Who gives a damn other than you jealous socialists? I could care less how many people become billionaires. It doesn’t affect me or you like you think. Just what would the government do about it anyway? Tax their wealth away from them to give it to you? You don’t deserve it.

Satan is firmly entrenched within the Democrat party. It gets worse with every passing year.

My great grandparents homesteaded in Ontario, Canada in the 1800’s. That homestead was the family farm I grew up on. A 3 storey farmhouse, 40’ peak hip roof barns raised in community barn raisings, hedges for field borders as opposed to fences. Every field ditched and tiled by hand. Throughout my career I kept a picture of that farm over my desk. It was a reminder to me and my teams that any time we thought we had it tough, we did not. Those folks knew how to work and they had none of the social safety nets we have today. I have no patience with the whining of folks complaining about lack of opportunity today.

Yes, similar story here. Great, great grandparents came from Germany and Norway to the Dakota Territory not long after the Civil War. My dad grew up milking cows every day morning and evening, feeding other cattle, hogs, horses and chickens plus working the crop fields and going to school. He was one of seven kids so he didn’t end up with the farm but I spent a lot of my summers helping my uncles and cousins put up hay and doing chores. We lived in the country and I started working off the farm at 13 years-old as well. I shagged range balls and mowed at the local golf course. I then worked at a grocery store all through high school before moving to Colorado for college. Worked in the restaurant business for nine years, starting as a dishwasher during college and when I left to outfit full-time, I was the regional manager for five 24-hour restaurants. I worked 60-80 hours a week. Guiding now, during an 8-day trip, I will work 16-hour days = 128 hours a week. I have zero patience for slackers and socialists. As Cameron Hanes says - Nobody cares, work harder.

What is interesting is that the highest income inequality in the USA is in NY and CA is also up there. Two states with the highest taxes in the nation. Taxing your way into equality does not seem to work.

I wasn't referring to the ICC at all. Perhaps if you did more research you'd know that Netanyahu has three separate cases against him IN ISRAEL for Fraud, Bribery, and Breach of Trust. But of course those are white collar crimes, so the Republican party doesn't consider those real crimes anymore, not with Trump in office.

Then there is that little matter of his government propping up Hamas to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars over the years. Remind me again...isn't funding terrorists a crime? And since I know you love a good conspiracy theory @Brent in Az , it is very convenient for BB that one of the world's greatest intelligence services had themselves a "whoopsies" and let hundreds of terrorists into Israel, and didn't know anything about it? And they also had a totally inadequate response as well? Now his trials are on hold indefinitely?

I didn't miss it, it was just not the topic of my post. You just seem to have a very short attention span, try to ignore the butterflies and squirrels and stay on topic next time.
On the contrary, it is probably easier now.
I don't disagree, the point (one of two that I was making) was that part of the reason for that, is that there have been several (federal) government interventions over the years that have made it easier to succeed in life. You seem to be arguing that's not the case.

There you go again, more insults. You can't even last a day can you? But it will be funny (at least initially that is), if we all live long enough to see it, where one day a Democratic Socialist is elected president, and I can tell you all I told you so. I mean, it'll be a pyrrhic victory, but funny as all heck none the less...Or maybe since I see your in CO, perhaps just a DS Governor, sounds more probable anyways.

Hilarious. And Bush Jr allowed 9/11 and Pearl Harbour was intentional and no one landed on the moon.

The weakness in Israel is that it is a legitimate multiparty democracy and they defended the rights of minorities. They gave respect to people in a way Arab states never would. There are no porous borders between Palestine and Egypt and no access for Palestinians to Jordan. Only Israel allowed that and it cost them.

defended the rights of minorities.
Not the Palestinian minorty they didn't.
There are no porous borders between Palestine and Egypt and no access for Palestinians to Jordan.
So because other Arab states treat the Palestinian's like dirt as well, it's ok for Israel to do it? I'm not sure how that makes any sense.
Only Israel allowed that and it cost them.
Israel has had a blockade on Gaza for almost 20 years, what access are you referring to? The West Bank?

Class is all about jealousy with socialism

How could I forget? Government fixes everything, right?
