I used to like Tucker, to your point he would question things. As a basic example, 1+1=2, he wouldn't question that the equation was right, he would ask, where did we get each 1 and are we sure there is only 1.

However, now he says the equation is wrong and the media and government are working together to give you the illusion that is right to make sure you dont question the deep state and global order. And somewhere in there he thinks Russia is a victim.

I think he fell into the "get off my grass" mindset, he is angry with anything and he gets paid for it. For a while a few years ago, he was talking like a libertarian, but he's certainly off the rails now.

Count me as another who used to think he was OK. Then the last 6-12 months at FOX and everything since then has gone completely off the rails. TBH, I haven't watched/seen a single thing he's done since leaving fox, save maybe a few seconds of a clip shown on this forumn from time to time.

AI is stripping people of jobs the same way computers stripped people of jobs. We don't have switchboard operators, clerk/typists etc.. People have adapted and have new jobs that were not even conceivable in the past.

It wasn't that long ago I used to write code on paper give it to a tech aid who went and punched it into a deck of cards to be run on a computer, get the output and bring it back to me to fix errors. That process which took hours took seconds later on in the cycle. Now, you have "vibe coding" where one defines the problem, outlines the approach and the AI does the heavy lifting and generates the code. Someone still has to define the problem and the parameters.

BTW, that "black box" approach is what companies used when shipping software development to India just a few of decades ago. One created the design documents and sent it to India and some time later got the code back for testing etc. before putting it into production. If anything AI is replacing the people who the software development was being farmed to.

Of course, AI is also being used in a lot of other areas as well.

As you said AI is removing the millions of jobs for telecom and coding that were created overseas over the last 25 years that will be a problem for them and there future.

But do you think it’s interesting that the founder’s of almost all the major AI companies says mass job loss will be a problem?

Personally I view AI as a tool that is useful in some capacities and massively overhyped in its supposed future abilities.
If as some whistleblowers have suggested that we will lose 30-50% of jobs in a short time frame then the crime would be so high I’d get my marshmallows out to watch the nation burn because that’s what would happen. If it’s the 10-15% that some say then it will hurt because many of those jobs are high paying but people will be able to adapt.
Either way many of us on here will get to find one way or the other

Putin and Trump both have a problem they started a war with a nation that wont just roll over and give up. I believe Ukraine is putting an immense amount of pressure on Putin and he cant do a thing about it, someone needs to step up in Putin's inner circle and do the deed.
As for Poland ,he is an Idiot if he messes with them, we have troops over there as well. Norway and Finland as well could step up, but I wouldnt count on England.

Actually, I am convinced Chatsworth Osborne, Jr's (Rush's nickname for him) only thinking is what he can allege to assure the most monetized clicks from the steady resource reservoir of the tin foil conspiracy loons lurking the farther right regions of the web - and of course the checks from his Qatari Russian sponsors.

I wouldn’t believe to much of what you read at the moment.

America has a version. Iran has about four official versions. The mainstream media have their own versions by picking and choosing from the official versions to create their own versions.

Waiting to see what actually happens with a bit of a time delay is probably the only way to know the real story.
