And more UK third world shit....and nothing to protect yourself with...or even allowed to....place will do fkall.....need the UK police from the 1970s 80s etc....would have been no fkn around ....get the old "Sweeny Todd " on it ....

The UK seems to be occupied with anything but dealing with real issues.

How much time and resources were wasted on this......

If you are born after 2008 - You are permanently banned from ever buying tobacco!

Wait till they realize and actually quantify the destruction alcohol causes
Well, there have been studies that state that small amount of alcohol actually helps.

Tobacco does cause cancer, period. My last wife's mother died of lung cancer, never smoked but all her working life was around people that smoked around her in the office. Second hand smoke got her.

I'm sure British American Tobacco is not happy. While I don't smoke and happy public places are now smoke free. All this will do is create a black market and more crime. Just what the UK needs.

I don't disagree with this.
Seriously?......

"Your younger than me so you are banned from buying a cigar for the rest of your life!"
Not just tobacco but vapes too.

That's bullshit on so many principles, what if they said that everyone born after 2008 is prohibited from applying for a firearms license?

Just look at Cocaine..... Banned ages ago, yet the British consume more per capita than any place on earth.

What’s the net benefit for society encouraging tobacco use? At least cocaine raises productivity.

Good grief man......cocaine raises productivity.?
Tobacco is legal, the devils dust cocaine is not. That stuff destroys lives, families, and bank accounts.

We are all born with the inalienable right to do as we choose. Good, bad, or indifferent. There are some things the government needs to keep its authoritarian fingers out of.
Im not shocked that a country that throws people in jail for Facebook posts, would ban people from tobacco.

Christ, learn about sarcasm. At least those coke heads are out getting things done on the trading floor as opposed to spending half their work day in the smoke pit gossiping.

The realtor who handled this deal got the "Employee of the Month" award.

This is a good read if you have 10-:15

“We recall that the framers of the Fourteenth Amendment specified that those who are naturalized must owe exclusiveallegiance to the U.S. to be included within its jurisdiction. And the citizenship oath taken by new citizens today still requires a pledge of such allegiance. But in practice dual citizenship—and dual allegiance—is allowed. This is a sign of the decline of American citizenship and of America as a nation state.

The doctrine of birthright citizenship and the acceptance of dual citizenship are signs that we in the U.S. are on the verge of reinstituting feudalism and replacing citizenship with the master-servant relationship. The continued vitality of the nation state and of constitutional government depends on the continued vitality of citizenship, which carries with it exclusive allegiance to what the Declaration of Independence calls a “separate and equal” nation. Unless we recover an understanding of the foundations of citizenship, we will find ourselves in a world where there are subjects but no citizens.”

Your right if it doesn’t benefit society then let’s ban it, so what is the net benefit to society of……

Sports cars
Guns
Motorcycles
Lip stick
Dogs over 35kg

Hell how about we just ban everything that others enjoy because it’s detrimental in some form to society.

Next thing you know we’ll be banning pointed kitchen knives…..because honestly why do you need it?
That is actually what the UK is trying to do now to prevent knife crime.

Back to tobacco- In Australia cigarettes are $30 pack, yet the #1 growing smoking demographic is teenage girls.

As for the affects of productivity produced by cocaine, let’s look at Australia again - cocaine is $300 per gram in Australia and people are still sniffing that shit up their noses like vaccum cleaners despite it being illegal.

Straw man argument. Not to mention it is pretty hard to get a firearms license in the UK anyway.

Forget the health argument. I will not hire anyone that smokes and have fired guys that smoked during working hours as I feel I am not paying them to take a smoke break every hour. Pot is a given as they would not be able to get a "Clean-Card" which is a work requirement.

Edit: I remember when smoking was banned at bars and restaurants a while back. People complained that they'd lose customers etc., etc.. Did not happen.

See the earlier sarcasm comment. You sure care about drug prices and habits of other countries, huh

If you tried to ban smoking in the fisheries the whole industry would collapse
A good friend of mine was a crabber, and would always describe the permanent burn in his dad’s moustache from never being without a dart while skippering.
