But doesn't the reverse logic equally apply?
Are you saying that proving you have a legitimate right to vote is a bad thing?
I’m 62 years old and went and bought a bottle of wine the other day and had to show an ID, it’s the least I can do to show an ID to vote.

Or fkn labour fktards..milliband being one of note....he needs dropping in the north sea in a solar powered dingy....

The very premise of that article is dumb… it assumes an either-or requirement… if the UK pumps oil it’s dependent on global markets… but if it focuses on renewable energy it becomes energy independent..

Why in the hell wouldn’t the UK pursue BOTH???

His premise is tantamount to saying I possess a crate full of diamonds… but I prefer emeralds… so I’ll just leave the diamonds in The crate and ignore their value while I go find more emeralds..

The UK has oil… oil is a valuable global commodity… just because some dumbass prefers solar or wind doesn’t mean the oil doesn’t have value and shouldn’t be traded for it’s value…

It’s entirely possible for the UK to work toward energy independence via renewable energy… while pumping oil to sell to the global market… and.. if the liberals like Miliband had any sense, they’d realize the money made from oil could be invested in their green projects and actually move the UK toward their desired independence position faster…

It would surprise me if @KJE81, @Pondoro and @RLD were not in Havana right now having a spring break party…

Remind me again, where in the constitution does it require an ID to vote? I must have also missed the section where it guarantees you the right to buy booze. Thanks.

Just because one does not like all of Trumps policies does not mean that one is a communist. I can’t speak for Pondoro or RLD, but I have voted for the swedish conservative party ever since I got old enough to vote. They are however not rightwing populists, more like classical conservatives, like the republicans before Trump/MAGA.

Milliband is a rabid anti oil..coal etc deranged individual who needs feeding to anything that could actually stomach him....no sense or logic in his turd of a brain

Red herring bullshit argument..

The D’s spent $38b on medical assistance programs for illegal immigrants.. what else could that money have been spent on?

$150b was spent on other programs like food and housing for illegal immigrants.. what else could that money have been spent on?

Different administrations have different priorities..

How much money did the EU spend on programs last year that you think was inappropriate? What else could it have spent money on? Why did it choose to spend money on programs you don’t support but instead spent money on programs someone else wanted?
Thankfully all of your numbers are completely made up.

It does say in the constitution I have the right to keep and bear arms, I have to show ID and go through a background check for that. Nowhere does it say I need an ID to exercise that right, why should it be any different why not to vote?

Care to provide real numbers from substantiated sources?

I got mine from co-pilot, that referenced a number of sources..

Why not to vote?
even asks on the background check if I’m a US citizen.

And you are brainwashed..
This is a politics thread on a gun forum buddy, of course they are. To many ppl here think Trump can do no wrong. No matter what he does. After years of criticizing every president and saying an Iran war is a terrible idea, he did exactly that. Every accusation is a confession with MAGA.

This is the same group of voters who demand everyone have their birth certificate to vote, but pitch a royal fit when they are asked for an ID to buy a gun, and pass a background check.

Remind me where in the constitution is says not to stick your dick in a chicken…

Everything conceivable isn’t in the constitution..

That’s why there is a legislative branch.. they create the laws..

The judicial branch then determines if those laws are constitutional..

Thank you for bringing this up. Interesting that the Republican party demands a birth certificate to vote, but believes that showing an ID/background check is unconstitutional and too burdensome. Sounds like hypocrisy to me.

I’m no Trump apologist but he had been say we should do something about Iran for years, he had been very critical of the war in Iraq

Thats not how sources work. I dont have to prove that your numbers are incorrect, you are supposed to CITE a source. Not an AI that hallucinates all the time. An AI could easily cite some conspiracy theory website with made up numbers. Which is what I suspect happened.

Again unsubstantiated blither..

Show me where the Republican Party has demanded a birth certificate to vote…

A birth certificate doesn’t establish citizenship.. there are countless US citizens that don’t have birth certificates from the US..

I don’t recall anyone bitching about ID for a firearms purchase either… it’s certainly not a Republican Party platform issue..

Some people (a very marginal few) take exception to back ground checks… but if you bothered to actually look for facts you’d know that’s the exception rather than a rule..

In fact many republicans are very much on board for background checks these days due to mental health issues surrounding gun violence…

It’s hardly a unifying issue within the party

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
