105 here, forgive me for not feeling your heat.
But I live at 6700ft elevation! Anyway, 105 is WAY too hot even there for this time of year. Even rocks have a hard time existing in that heat. LOL

As explained by the legislator to me… inside or outside doesn’t matter.. if there are threads that can be accessed, it’s illegal…
So what about the threads on the barrel that screw into the action?

Yes, exactly!
Listen to ANY ten minutes of ANY Dave Ramsey program and the formula for financial security is spelled out. So easy and so simple! Yet sadly many only learn the hard way or never learn at all. They are easy to recognize later in life as they become chronic complainers, never looking in the mirror, blaming someone else one or something else for all their misfortunes.

Dave Ramsey, 1 bankruptcy and no Big 5...not going to follow his advice.

Please see my earlier post. Threads are not a factor on shotguns. They only comment play on semi automatic rifles and handguns. It is one of the items that can qualify a gun as an assault weapon under the new law.

A stupid law but choke tube threads are not involved.

Take a look at my earlier post. He was either mistaken or talking about an earlier version of the bill. Threads are not a factor on shotguns.

Just do you know, I never followed Ramsey either:) I learned to live within my means and avoid debt. I retired 26 years ago. I own vehicles and property and houses in two countries all debt free and all on what is considered low median US income. If anything Ramsey’s formula postdates mine. ;)

Follow whomever you wish. Ramsey’s message is consistent and simple, “Avoid debt at all costs, especially for things that depreciate in value and don’t live beyond your means.” So if that is poor advice, please share yours.

These are the most consecutive 30+ degree days I’ve seen in the forecast since November. It’s been brutal.
On another note, I’m currently near Valdez on Thursday, no ships in port. One tanker went into port on Friday. Two others on anchor off Knowles Head as of Friday.

We had a beautiful spring here last year, I guess we're paying for that now. I hate to see if this is a warning for what summer will be.

+1 on summer temperature forecasts. El Niño is supposed to kick in this summer, but I don’t know what that will mean for nationwide/worldwide temperatures?

It is his avoid debt at all costs I have a problem with. In my 20s I got has leveraged as possible in income producing assets, and then let inflation work its magic. If he saw what I did, he would have shit a brick, but it set me up for life. I don't have everything paid off but it is all producing income, I am more of a Buffet cash flow, mixed with Rich Dad Poor Dad.

There isnt one formula to success you have figure out the right mix that works for you and your risk tolerance.

I could have probably paid stuff off but I got my big 5 by 40 and that was a priority for me. YMMV.

We're competing with the humidity as well; 2% today in Colorado Springs. That's about what we had in Yuma many (many) moons ago.

As they post these new record highs, almost daily, the dates of the broken records rang a bell for me. Every record broken was the spring before some of the worst blizzards this area, Colorado Springs, has seen, 1977-78, 1982, 1997, 2007. If that precursor holds, this coming winter will have at least one true blizzard. We'll see....

I'm competing to get my ass back to Idaho, I don't belong in this sheit.

Very warm, dry here also in western CO. But low humidity is normal this time of year. Very dry this spring but with periods of extended cold. I didn’t record the dates but recall early 2000s here locally was a year or two of very dry winter/spring seasons followed by wildfires everywhere, June/July, followed by a couple of 3 to 4 foot snow dumps the following winter. Same one spring over on the front range during one of those years. Many collapsed roofs and smashed vehicles. Several 100+ year old gable roofed barns around here collapsed. Also, I remember one summer, maybe 2001 or 2002?, in that string of extreme seasonal variations, was a summer high temp that never reached greater than 85’ here with hard freezes well past mid-June… specifically 18’ as I was trying to pour concrete but had to wait a few days. Weather and climate are dynamic… by Nature! :)

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
