I dont think anyone believed Iran would give up pursuit of nukes.. as long as the current regime is still in power, they will continue down the same path they have been on since 1979... its worked great for them... why change?

we (the western world) really have one of two choices to make.. .

Commitment to full scale war to include ground forces, that topple the regime, cripples their military permanently, and then occupation until a new government is in place that we believe is more in line with western values.. (which we all know isnt going to happen, and isnt what any major western power is really interested in doing)...

or...

About once every 10 years hammer the shit out of them (take out nuke facilities, take out key nuclear personnel, crush their economy, force them to re-invest, re-build, etc..etc.)... knowing youre going to have to do it again 10 years later.. and be committed to doing that for as long as it takes for the Iranian people to figure out a way to topple the regime themselves (assuming thats something they actually want to do)..

In addition to “mowing the lawn” each time they rebuild their reactors…we must apply crippling sanctions, and create as much internal strife as possible. Langley, are you listening? Buy oil from the mullahs and you won’t do business with any NATO member.

They spent most of their 20's and 30's yucking it up, "living, laughing, loving", at the bars/lounges/clubs. Dating really uninteresting and hopeless men, projecting fictious wealth. They did this over and over again.

Now? They find themselves in their late 30's, early 40's, unable to have kids because the clock ran out, choosing from a pool of men that are single for some rather good reasons without aspirations to do anything meaningful with their lives, going forward.

One has to be cautious estimating the power of social media and who really cares about it. There has been some really good work done showing that people on social media are not remotely reflective of the general population and tend to show some way more extremist ideas and behaviours than society in general.

Yeah my kids did not have big problems dating and finding attractive good spouses. I think the problem is overstated but I did have to run off a couple loser guys pursuing my youngest daughter. She just got married on Sunday to a great guy from a great family. All four kids are married now and we have seven grandchildren, so far. My two sons each have two and will have one more child each. Oldest daughter has three and is done. Youngest daughter that just got married will have two I am guessing.

Sadly, Hillary still matters...

While she is undoubtedly one of the most hated people on the left in the US, she still wields considerable influence in the D party and has the ability to raise and point large amounts of funds at state and national elections...

She also gets the attention of A LOT of people every time her lips move.. she currently has 31M+ followers on X for example..

She'll never be POTUS.. and finally realizes that I believe..

But the Clintons are still viable king makers.. especially in times when Obama and his cronies are getting subjected to pretty substantial scrutiny..

As far as McCain being gone, good riddance. He was an establishment weasel, opportunist, and war monger. His demise has nothing to do with the Senate seats or governorship, but the changing voter dynamics. Jeff Flake saw the writing on the wall, and left politics with his tail between his legs.
I know many arizona republicans that couldn't stand McCain, as he didn't do Jack for any of us.

I respect John McCain for the war hero he was...for the leader he was for his fellow prisoners in VietNam. Didn't care for his voting in later years.....saving Obamacare. But, his military service outshines that for me.
