Perfect Rifle for Eland and Lion

I'll be using my .450/400 Rigby barrels for lion next year. It will be topped with SwarovskZ6i 1.7-10X scope. I will also use it to shoot plains game bait. .500 NE for buffalo and/or hippo bait.

I would recumbent the 286 g norma oryx in your 9.3x62, I have shot a number of large plains game with it and it performs perfectly.
cape eland, projectile was recovered on the off side shoulder and weight was 279 gr original weight 286g. and I would imagine they would be ideal for lion, quick initial expansions and shock with good penetration.
