Sounds like someone has been grunting as the get up.

Pain is weakness leaving the body; I was planning to have this tattooed on my neck, you know from the cheek bone and down towards the center of my chest.
Like really bad-ass tough!

But the girl at the tattoo-place said it would be a bit painful so I didnt do it.

As for arthritis, I can write a book on the subject...

I always thought pain was the reward for the misdeeds and the bad shit we did in the past?
I served and am not sure that the VA has not been complicit in creating most of my chronic pain issues...... :-) But that's a subject for a different day...!

When you’re young, the absence of pleasure is painful. When you’re old, the absence of pain is pleasurable.

The most dangerous thing that cause the most injuries in us older men is,
THINKING WE ARE STILL YOUNG MEN.

So love this Mark!!! I have no doubt you were an outstanding Marine! Given I have one as a cousin he told me even in retirement a Marine continues to be a Marine!!!
There are old marines but no former marines. As told to me by a second generation marine.

We´re all here complaining about our old age pains, but the alternative of not reaching old age is much worse
Yes, How many of our relatives and friends didn't make it to old age.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
