I've heard stories to make you want to take a 404 Jeffery with you....

I've sent a few youngsters out for snipes. They usually come up empty handed but not empty shorted. :D

I got snookerd into a nighttime Snipe hunt, when I was a kid at a weekend summer camp.

Not one of my finest moments.

I’ve Snipe hunted. Used to do it quite often, they are challenging targets, lots of dips and dives. When flushed they often circle back, giving you more chances to shoot. Yes they are a real game bird...

We used sound powered phone batteries, gig line and bulkhead remover to catch 'em when I was in the Navy.

They've been Hunted to excitation here in Minnesota, proves those Finlanders will eat anything

They fly like feathered meteors

I had one of those damn booking agents try to talk me into a nighttime hunt on a fenced area....I told him nothing but a free range hunt....he didn’t call me back.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
