Heads up...has anyone else had this issue?
I recently noticed that the status of our Qatar flights had changed from 'confirmed' to 'not confirmed.' I called customer service to address a required shift in dates and was advised that our flights Seattle->Doha->Johannesburg had been cancelled. The representative searched the month of October, and said that the system wouldn't allow any reservations to be made in October!
Back to the drawing board to figure out how to get to Niassa without 4 days of travel one-way and multiple overnights. Things sure were a lot easier 2 years ago!.
Seattle to Maputo is an option on Ethiopian, but the 50 minute to 1 hour layovers are scary. I don't think I want to take that risk!
