NIB Winchester 70 In .416 Remington Ammo Package

Man!!! this is the deal of the century********

If this rifle is still for sale I will take it for $2000.

The rifle is SOLD. Thanks to all for the positive comments.

Yes, thanks for all the positive comments. Now some suggestions about the best place to hide this new rifle from my wife would be helpful!

A friends house.
I will gladly volunteer for that duty and make sure she gets at least a by weekly dose of ammo until it runs out.:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

I'm glad I'm making so many new friends!

Congratulations, well done! I do also have extra room in my safe, and the safe is well guarded by a 95 lbs German Shepherd, so your rifle will be very safe.

Thanks @cbvanb! Rifle and ammo all arrived, now I just need to go shoot it!

Thank you sir. And, good luck with the wife!

Finally got enough time away from work to go shoot. Fabulous gun! Only had time to fire a few shots, but I think that's all my shoulder wanted to take. This is a big step up for me personally (.300 Win Mag is the largest rifle I've ever shot previously), but I think I'll manage the recoil better the more comfortable I become shooting. Now I just need a good low power scope to compliment the iron sights.

are the solids round nose or the flat melpat?

They are the 400gr Barnes Monolithics. To be honest, I'm sitting at work trying to remember if they were round or flat nose....I'll check tonight.

Ok. Lmk please. I'm interested if they are the newer flat nosed design.

I think they were a little older stock so I think they are the RN, but I'll check and post some pics tonight.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
