Just got my 416 Rigby 140AE in from Germany.

I saw a recent post about pressure problems. Im loading for mine, went with mid range charge and new brass, swift 400 A Frames. Garmin has it at 2262 fps avg for first 7 rounds. No pressure issues. Was trying to sight it in at 50. The Red dot adjustment seemed to be moving the optic the opposite direcation it should have. When I Got back to the house I could see the dot was way left of the front sight. Adjusted it back to center, then bore sighted it like I would a bolt gun, looking thru the BBL and adjusting the dot to the center. Everything was super tight. The cross bolt required me to manually move it to the center to get the triggers to pull.

Triggers were 5.5 # on Front and 6# on the back with lots of creep. About to send it out to smith to get triggers worked on. Got to get this dialed in prior to October when I head back to the Kalahari.

That was my post about the ammunition/pressure issues. I’m glad you’re not having any of the same issues! I’m guessing there’s a break in period for the brand new rifles and then they will smoothen up?

Are you happy with it as a brand new rifle? What was the wait period on it from order to receiving it?
What’s the current price on a new one if you don’t mind me asking?

I'll take the Vortex scope cover you have listed in the Pay it Forward thread.
