New lipsey's ruger alaskan bush rifle in 9.3x62 and 35 whelen

Congratulations on jumping on in there right away. I wish I had done so as well.
I sent off an enquiry to Lipsey's asking them if there were any other Canadian importers of their products. Nothing back so far.
Reach out to Prophet River.. Clay and the crew there are often the only ones who bring in the specials from Lipseys.

Is anyone still looking for one of these in 9.3x62?

I picked mine up yesterday, it is gorgeous. I put it to my shoulder, the sights line up perfectly. I have not even put the bolt in the action yet.

Today I found out a rifle in a friend's collection that I have coveted will soon be available. I am now operating on a one in one out inventory management plan. If anyone is looking for one of these Lipsey's Ruger Alaskan Bush Rifles let me know.

$1450.00 plus shipping/insurance from my FFL to the buyer's FFL.

I lucked out and got one of each from Lipsey’s last week. They were spoken for before they got here. Still on my wishlist so hoping for more.

I had planned to keep one but since I cobbled a similar 20” Whelen together years ago and recently fitted it to a McMillan it is hard to justify something so redundant.

Lipsey’s MSRP is listing at $1659 but I see people have gotten a lower quotes. The Alaskan arms extra round floor plates are $279.99
@JoeSoap
Can't understand the extended extra round floor plate.
If'n y'all can't kill something with 5 rounds of Whelen or 9.3 it's time for one of two things.
Learn to shoot or kiss your arse good by before you get stomped into a red puddle or eaten.
$280 buys a lot of ammo.

I sold our 4 units in 36 hours.
3 on gunbroker. Let the market determine price. That's how a free system works.
Price gouging is the act of dramatically increasing the price of essential goods and services during a time of emergency or disaster.
While nice, The Alsakan Bush ain't essential and you not getting one doesn't rate as an emergency.
If a buyer wants to pay $2k or 20k, that's the market price. While it may seem unsavory it's what it is.
I'm just glad to see that after 100 years the 9.3 is being produced, especially by an American company.
I would have like ruger to opted for the guide configuration on the barrel so that a moderator could be installed.
Earlier this year we also had the #1 RSI in 9.3 and the KS1 in 35.
I'm a big fan of the medium bore rifles and am expecting the new 358 winchester hunter 16" threaded rifle to be a big seller when it arrives.
@noafrica4me
A 16" 358 is going to bark like a bitch.

Actually it’s two extra rounds. Lol, who said anything about killing one thing?! I’m shooting multiple fast moving targets!

can someone please school me on hawkeye rings setups? My 9.3 is coming in a few days and I want to put my meopta 1-6x24 on it. What are the lowest rings I can get? This is a 30mm tube... I see warne makes QD 30mm is that what I need to look at? They only make MED height from what I can tell, no lows? The hawkeye is a little confusing to find mounts for. Thanks!!!

The front and rear are different heights. Check out Ruger’s website. I bought a set for my .375 Guide Gun and I too had no idea about this until I spoke with their customer service person.

If you saw the Lipsey's video, you may want to look at Alaska Arms LLC (www.alaskaarmsllc.com).

So far I like leupold rings. Ruger rings come with it, they used to swap them out for you if you sent the others back, not sure they still do that. Having said that I did like the looks of the Alaskan arms rings, just never have spent the extra $$ over the leupolds. At least not yet. I have a Ruger african in an older model, the non-loosely version and I dearly love it. It shoots everything well

I was just on Rugers website and they had a Ruger #1 RSI in 9.3x62 listed as being available through lipseys as well

Is there a reason that I cant find "low" 30mm rings? I must buy specific rings tailored to the Ruger m77 dovetail ? Generic rings won't work?

Thanks greatly! I'm leaving for the holidays so won't be around until 8 December. If that works I'll be appreciative. Address is Mason Reid, 1504 Driftwood Drive, Bozeman, MT 59715.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
