Got one coming in 9.3x62.

If I could afford it, I would get a second in 35 Whelen.

I will use the 9.3 with 250-286 grain bullets, including solids which are available for it. Perfect for big bears and plains game as well as Buffalo.

The Whelen in my mind shines with 200-250 grain bullets. A better choice for deer or more open country.

Handloading for either extends its versatility with heavier bullets in the Whelen plus lighter ones in the 9.3x62.

May have to sell some other stuff to get that Whelen if I really like the 9.3 version.

Yeah I like the 9.3x62 and 9.3x74r...only have a x62 now...used it quite a bit over the years....this looks nice especially with the drop belly mag extension....if you don't mind me asking what price are they asking over there?.....

Lipsey’s MSRP is listing at $1659 but I see people have gotten a lower quotes. The Alaskan arms extra round floor plates are $279.99

I’m going to try and find one and float & glass bed the barrel…(and yes thread and cap the barrel too, before I start a war, for practice not the field :)

Looking forward to pics and review!

That 9.3 looks right handy. Wish I could justify two.

Personal peccadillo- if you’re going to showcase a rifle, and the factory hasn’t done it, take a few minutes and time the cross-bolts. Drives me crazy to see improperly oriented fasteners.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
