hello everyone am ferly new to bowing, Ive been practicing for a few months now with my goal of doing bow hunting. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on essential upgrades or essential items. For starters, I have Mission Switch bow. Pretty basic 3 pin sight, tight spot 5 arrow quiver & a whisker biscuit. That's about it. My release is a basic index release, im thinking that may be the first thing to get changed. Thanks.

You have the essential gear. The fundamentals of shooting the bow will be what dictates your success, but ……..

After ensuring you have a decent stabilizer, I’d upgrade the whisker brisket to a drop away rest first. Then swap out the sight. Then perhaps upgrade the release

noted. thanks for the tip

I also have basic bow and accessories, 2 years ago prior to an African bow hunt I upgraded my release, it was a game changer for me.

Agree with above… first upgrades are release and rest… those will make a huge difference in your ability to make consistent repeatable accurate shots…

After that, find a good sight that you like… I went through a handful before I settled on a spot hogg single pin… a precision sight that is easy to see, has the right sized pin head for the distances you most commonly shoot, etc will help a lot…

A very inexpensive upgrade that also can make a huge difference is a quality small sized peep… most factory peeps are frankly too big.. they’re great for picking up the target quickly, but suck if what you’re looking for is precision/accuracy… for less than $15 installed, that’s an easy fix…

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
