Pulled my TC Whitetail hunter flintlock out to hunt yesterday only to find the frizzen spring cracked. I was able to swap one from a long barreled Hawken I have to hunt for the day but need to replace that one now. I figured it would be a quick call to TC but it appears they are out of the muzzleloader business with no parts available. An internet search also yielded nothing I could use. Anyone know where I might be able to purchase a replacement frizzen spring for a TC flintlock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe easier to just buy a whole spare lock.

Check out Dixie Gun Works. If anyone has it, they do.

@Shootist43 wrong part, he's after the spring that works with that.

Trackofthewolf.com and https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1028900C

Both had it for the Hawken, though they're currently out of stock. Give them a ring and see if they'll be getting anymore or perhaps know of a suitable substitute.

I have an unfired T rex 577 if anyone is interested in acquiring it . Absolutely spotless, flawless and well kept . It's rare as it gets . Mouth watering ? Let me know if you feel like making an offer .
