NAMIBIA: On The Banks Of Chobe River

How much I have learnt on this forum, and how much support I got in private contacts from many of the forum members, this is the minimum I could do.

Thank you for the appreciation.

What a magnificent write up, thank you for taking us on that great trip !
I was taken back to a few spots, isn’t it crazy after the Veterinary Gate that there are so few Wild animals, I drove all night & only saw Dogs Donkeys Cows & Goats till I hit the Strip !

I feel very guilty I couldn’t do a Hunt Report or two but none would even approach your work done here !

Great report! Looking forward to your report from your next adventure as well

Well done; both the safari itself but especially your wonderful write-up! Thoroughly enjoyable, as if we were listening to you tell the tale around the fire.

Excellent report! Congrats on a memorable Safari.

Wonderful report! I felt like I was there. There’s nothing wrong with your English!

Thank you, boys, your support fills my heart with joy!

Waidmannsheil @mark-hunter !! Excellent buffalo and story. I could feel your adrenaline through the words! Thank you for sharing!

Looking forward to hearing about your next adventure, in Zimbabwe with Vaughan!

Thanks for the comments! I am glad you enjoyed the story, especially as English is not my first language.
Great writing, even for someone whose first language is English! Thanks for sharing

We are looking at options for buffalo for 2026 and Caprivi is on the shortlist

Wow what an adventure! Waidmannsheil to you and your buddy, great buffalo. Well written and memories for a lifetime. I agree with @Red Leg print that picture, it is one heck of a photo and memory.

What an amazing and well written hunt. Congratulations on your Buffalo and thank you for sharing your experience and takins us along this amazing safari.

Great story, great adventure, congrats and thanks for sharing :D Cheers:

As others have said really well written! Love the photos takes me back down the roads once traveled by myself! Especially vet gates, Vic falls etc. thought you might have jumped in for a rafting trip;) that pic of you guys standing there on the balcony at Vic falls hotel with the river falling away to the right that rapid is called morning glory, which nearly had me in another life. Really appreciate the write up @mark-hunter

Rafting trip crossed my mind!
I have it in mind for future trips!

Thank you, @Sideshow

Great report and photos. Always nice to see pics of things other than animals bagged. Glad you had time for the side trip to the falls. Awesome job of descriptive writing, thanks for taking the time. I laughed at your mention of "BATTERY AZIZ" - that is a favorite saying in our family.

The area has great potential.
This is a photo of a 50-inch buffalo taken at the same place where I got mine, maybe a month later.
On the photo, from a taxidermy shop
Mine on top,
Gregors in the middle
And the next client buffalo below
