NAMIBIA: AfriHunt Safaris Hunt Report Otavi Mountains

Those mountains in the background of your Eland picture take me back.
It is incredible country up there.
Awesome trophies.

I just received word that they had located my sons black wildebeest shortly after we departed. Unfortunately the cape was spoiled ( as expected) . I truly wish we had pictures. It was an animal we hadn't considered, and a spur of the moment decision to take it was based on the quality. The bull does score NAPHA gold, so that quality is undeniable.
As far as my four trophies go, each one (springbuck, gemsbok, eland, and hartebeest) all qualify NAPHA gold. That is a true testament to the quality of game and the commitment that Justus Britt provides to hunt quality trophies when you choose to book with Afrihunts Safaris.

You had a great Safari with some beautiful trophies. Thank you for posting the report and photos.

Well at least it was found. Might make a good looking euro! Thanks for the great reporting! It sounded like a heckuva trip.

Great Hunt, congrats to you and your Son

Great news! I think you can justify a return trip to collect a new cape ... none of us would ever argue you!

Justus is a fun guy and the lodge is beautiful. Did he get you to lift his leadwood chairs?

Yes, the leadwood chairs. Unbelievably heavy, but I did hoist them! Justus and Karla were great hosts, it may be a couple years but I will be going back!

AWESOME HUNT and GREAT TROPHIES !!!!! Thanks for posting !

Has anyone hunted with afrihunt safaris in Namiba recently 2017-19?? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks for your time!

We are hunting with Justus in August after our buff hunt with CMS in Zim. You’ve got me pretty excited about it!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
