the knife was used to field dress skin and partial quartering of adult cow elk. Knife performed admirably. It still has quite a good edge on it, though I did use my butchering skill and cut very little hair, which is what will really dull a knife. Great steel, great wood, great knife. Thanks Garry!!

Congratulations on a successful hunt. I love to see these knives after being put to work and the thumbrest skinner would be right at home in that workplace.

@Ray B , I hope you don’t mind me piggy backing on your post Garry certainly makes great knives!
I have the Bushcraft Hunter and so far this fall it has worked on a bear, two antelope, a mule deer, and a Tibetan Yak! And just now it is getting it’s first sharpening. It is an awesome knife!

Nothing more beautiful when blood turns the blades dull gray from use, love, and stories. They get prettier every time they work. Congrats on the knives, the hunts, and the stories!
