Came in this week - thanks Cody!

AHR build...bought from an estate after the death of the owner.

Has a really great trigger...I might get spoiled.

The LOP is a little short for me at 13 5/8. Need to get it to 14 to 14 1/4 to be ideal.

It is also butt light for me...I will want to balance it out.

Shot it today for the first time...very nice! Very comfortable with plinking loads of 500gr at 1,830fps. Will start cranking it up!

I just drooled on my I-Pad!
Gorgeous!!! Enjoy your new toy.

Beautiful gun Tim. Enjoy

Very nice and a great caliber too!

Glad to see you got all of the stains off the stock!

@tarbe : Tim, as good as those photos look, your new rifle looks even better in person. You shot if very well too, despite the slightly shorter LOP.

Very nice rifle. I really like the wood grain on that stock.!

Beautiful wood! Love the lines.

Supercool man!

Just remember, I had my way with her before you!
Wonderful rifle Tim! The stock is dreamy

I don’t think it gets any better than that :K Love Eyes:

Tim, that rifle is outstanding. Now you need to get it engraved by the same gal that works for Krieghoff.:rolleyes:

Quit hijacking Tim’s thread!

Thats a beauty! Congrats in the addition!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
