MRC 1999

"I tried to get a bare receiver from them. I called, the price was well in excess of their advertised price. After the sales guy got done calling me a liar, I sent him the link. He called me back and blamed it on their webmaster. Then he told me they “weren’t selling Saturns here, it’s not a negotiation.” I can only assume he was talking about the car. I told him where he could insert his action, and bought a Borden.

What a jerk. Haha."

Yes, I remember those stories and guess I was really lucky to have missed out on that phase of operation. whew!

I have an early '99, full stainless, in .375 H&H with a 20" barrel. 8#, 6oz with a Leupold 1-6 VX6 scope on it. Some might say it's a bit on the light side but I find it perfect.

Groups sub 1" with Partitions, GameKings and TSX's. Ejection is incredibly robust and throws brass 35 FEET away if I work the action fast.

I have my trigger set around 2.5#.

I love it.

Looking through my Safari Magazine from SCI and MRC is offering a Junction Rifle in 6.5CM with a donation value of $2K at the SCI convention.

I'd have to say MRC is back.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
