Great buffalo...I had a very similar hunt for a similar bull in SA in june.. Took him at 25m after an exciting hunt with my .470..

When one shoot them that close, the placement of the first shot is oh-so-important.. Getting so close and take them with a large caliber double rifle..thats what buffalo hunting is about for me..!

Oh! The pics of the wild dogs is great. Jaco is still in the dog house with my much better half as it seems that our group is the only ones that didn't see any wild dogs on our safari.
